   When Alfred Binet (of IQ test fame) was asked what is intelligence, his famous enigmatic answer was “Intelligence is what my test measures.” Intelligence can be more intelligently (please excuse the pun) described as the understanding of concepts and relationships along with problem saving abilities. In 1983 Howard Gardner went to the opposite extreme of the simplistic Binet definition and proposed that intelligence was actually eight separate and independent abilities of Spatial, Linguistic, Logical-mathematical, Bodily-kinesthetic, Musical, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal and Naturalistic.  From peer pressure to these eight there can be added two more abilities of Moral and Existential to complete his Theory of Multiple Intelligences.Gardner’s work lets us identify a total of ten abilities but they are really just aspects of three general intelligences: IQ, EQ and I am adding RQ (Religious Intelligence Quotient.) The fact that IQ, EQ and RQ can be dissected down to meaningful components does not justify the raising of these components to full independent Intelligence status (though the separate components are useful in identifying idiot-savantism.) The general and persuasive usefulness of the umbrella nature of I/EQ is long established as opposed to dissection by academics.

   It is an interesting side note that multiple intelligences can be related to the very ancient Chakra system. The relevant Chakras are noted below.

 IQ
   IQ is the oldest concept and conforms to what most people think of when they refer to intelligence. The following of Gardiner’s abilities constitute the defining and bounding aspects of this intelligence and are to at least some degree integral in traditional IQ tests.

    LOGICAL-MATHEMATICAL (Crown Chakra) is very self obviously an ability under IQ

    SPATIAL (Brow Chakra) refers to our kinesthetic ability to interpret the bounding and relational aspects of physical objects

    BODILY-KINESTHETIC (Sacral Chakra) the bounding and interrelationship aspects of our own body

    NATURALISTIC (Solar Plexus Chakra) is similar to Bodily-kinesthetic but here considers interrelationships of items in nature

 The two auditory related abilities (Throat Chakra)
   LINGUISTIC is our verbal and abstract thought abilities and has long been known to be a reflection of intellectual ability

    MUSICAL is said to compromise of sensitivity to sounds, rhythms, tones and music and to recognize acoustic relationships. This auditory ability is an abettor to the linguistic ability as body language experts have long known that most communication is not with the actual words said. It is interesting that statistical research has found a strong correlation between people of high IQ and a very decided preference for instrumental music, especially classical,

EQ (Heart Chakra)
   IQ has been around seemingly forever but did not explain why high IQ people so often failed so miserably in fields like business. A second intelligence of Emotional Intelligence Quotient, EQ, was born to explain the IQ shortfall. In a recent book called Emotional Intelligence 2.0 by Travis Bradberry and Jean Greaves we have similar identification of EQ core ability areas of Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness and Social Management. I would hold that these are expansions ofGardner’s Intrapersonal and Interpersonal abilities that add further clarification.

    INTRAPERSONAL is how astute we are at Self-Awareness and Self-Management strategies

    INTERPERSONAL is the Social Awareness and Management strategies and how well we employ them

RQ (Root Chakra)
   Religious Intelligence Quotient, RQ, seems the natural child of the research into intelligence roots. Here I would include the remaining two Multiple Intelligence abilities of Existential and Moral. RQ is not an ongoing analysis or evaluation process so that like EQ we have that it does not fit in to regular IQ.  Statistical research has shown the people with the highest IQ are rather exclusively atheist (by default strong religious believers are the diametrically opposite of atheists, and so again by default have to be defined as idiot-savant idiots in the intellectual ability of Existential Intelligence ability.)

    It might be wise to avoid the word “religion” in discussing this intelligence as it is a very value laden trigger word. It is taking heed of the work of professor S. I. Hayakawa when he coined the terms snarl words and purr words as they relate to contentious issues.  Just a simple RQ or Gardner’s term Existential might be better words and more conducive to open dialogue.

 Our RQ, or religiosity, is shaped by three innate factors:

   the GOD GENE. The human VMAT2 gene has been identified as creating a human desire for an ethereal alpha-male. It is a natural extension of our being social animals who naturally crave and follow an alpha-male whether that person is a committee head or the leader of a nation. In dealing with innate morals our minds anthropomorphize this desire into creating a god. It parallels the human genetic ability for language where all humans are genetically predisposed for it but the actual language they end up speaking hinges on ecological factors like their parents.

   the GOD MODULE. The prime tool of the God Gene is the God Module found in the brain’s temporal lobes. It has become known as the science of Neurotheology and is an interesting field too vast to be contemplated here. What is important to note is that “religious” experiences that many ascribe to a god are actually just natural human experience – no god needed. As an example: religious ecstasy has been defined as the religious ultimate and eternal experience of being in the presence of God but in reality is found to be a psycho-physical condition of the God Module – again no god needed,

   INNATE MORALITY (Multiple Intelligences’ Morals) equals spirituality. Morals to the ancients as an expression of our genes as social animals was a mysterious and “spiritual” phenomenon not understood, and so attributed to a god as an explanation. One way that these morals can be felt is through Freud’s Superego activity, again imaginatively interpreted as god activity by the ancients.

    Many YouTube videos show large predatory animals taking loving care of the baby of a normally prey animal. This type of “spirituality” exhibited by animals shows that spirituality and morals are not unique to humans but something we share with all social and herd animals. It is easy to find stories of the loving family nature of these social animals as in Rudyard Kipling’s story of animal love in The Jungle Book, it is something we can all relate to. The very human emotions of a family pets is behavior we can immediately relate to. Another example is the great social sense sheep dogs have that is the required complex social sense to herd sheep.A very recent example on YouTube was the recorded emotional wake march of wild elephants on the death of “elephant whisperer” Lawrence Anthony.

    A family animal wolf does not go to Wolf Church on Sundays and ask his Wolf God for guidance. Spirituality and morals are genetically innate to the wolf just as they are to us human animals.  (A wolf god is not such a far out or new idea as more than 2500 years ago ancient classical Greek philosopher Xenophanes postulated that if horses and oxen had hands and could draw pictures, their gods would look remarkably like horses and oxen.) Early humans felt this same genetic push as do the animals but then we humans are a conscious thinking entity creating the various gods and religious creeds as our primitive answers to these not understood feelings. Humans as social animals do not have either their morality or spirituality come from a god but have it come from genetics just like any other social animal. The upshot of all this is that morals are just as legitimate an intelligence study as any other native ability

    As a final note this is a very rudimentary analysis of RQ that needs much further research. It is also a fight against established religious seminaries, and by their ilk in other institutions around the world, of being brainwashing schools of hardened arbitrary creed – reality and intelligence optional.

      We all have a soul, and science provides the ratification. Science tells us that for our universe to exist there must be eleven dimensions (with the most basic “matter” that is actually energy called strings, loops or branes extending across the dimensions) and not just the four dimensions we can experience with our physical senses. This leaves the part of us that extends into the seven dimensions we cannot directly observe as the housing home or seat of our soul. Our soul is what is experienced in our daily lives as our Higher Self, a very useful identification. Since it is us directly in the other seven dimensions, the Ether Realm as opposed to the four dimensional Material World, it is also able to sense beyond the physical and act as our Guardian Angel protecting us. It can be thought of as a part of us that is in a permanent watchdog state that is keeping us in touch with events of interest to us, but events that we cannot readily sense in the Material World, a cross dimensional coordinator. The Higher Self cannot directly “talk” to us and this is unfortunate in that its messages can be suppressed and ignored by the conscious mind. As the saying goes you have to “believe” and be open not to shut down this useful function.
        Physical death is a physical phenomenon, if you will excuse the pun. On our physical four dimensional world death the soul lives on with our consciousness transferring to it. Our consciousness experiences it as a going into the light. Our soul is like a northern flower that dies with the onset of winter but lives on in its invisible underground bulb. The bulb (as in our soul) is the essence of the flower where the leaves and flowers (in the Material World) are just tentacles for nourishment and procreation. Just like a bulb, we are also rooted into the human morphogenetic field to give us strength. We blossom on death in the Ether Realm. (Our life core energy is our consciousness that shifts homes, blossoms, to the soul on passing.) Another analogy is striking a match to make it come into life (a birthing.) After you blow out the living flame the core match is still there.

ANCESTORS
    Ancestor worship is very common in our human history, and for good reason. “Ancestors” is what we become on passing over. The obvious expectation is that some living people will find the way to cross over the divide and contact the ones that have passed over already. Fortunately this contact is not that difficult to accomplish and most people will succeed in doing it by going into the alpha mind state. Think of this: souls/ancestors would have died long ago as a cultural (especially cross cultural) meme if there were not truth to it, dying out much like a unicorn did which is now just a fairy tale. Mediums and séances are easy to find if you are having contact problems, the difficult part is to watch out for the plethora army of con artists. Loved ones that have crossed over still very much care about you and can be a great source of comfort.
        Reincarnation and Past Lives Recall philosophies stem from being able to attract other souls (some souls have proved to be the souls of still living people) or strong memories in the Ether state through the Law of Attraction. Once a “memory” (how we experience a soul) is attracted and copied into the mind, the mind cannot tell the difference between ones own and the attracted memories. As a matter of interest: an emotionally powerful event can also create an independent Ether “memory” which is why such snippet recalls are also common.

What requires further research is whether creating such an emotionally charged “memory” (something I call a Cosmic Energy “Wimage” from my W-UU Universe Unfolding monogram) to do the actual attracting in the Ether may be an actual necessary first step, and often missing link, to manifesting with the Law of Attraction. Many texts attest to the necessity of strong emotion along with subconscious “Belief” congruence for successful manifestation. Both are elements in creating a strong Ether “memory” Wimage.

AWEN
     Awen is of the Material World. It is not the Ether Higher Self and should not be confused with the same. Awen is an old Celtic term that means inner spirit and is the conscious of your subconscious. It does your thinking and retrieval work to come up with information your conscious mind needs to cogitate on, as well as control most of your conscious thinking thoughts and actions through your lifetime buildup of established Beliefs. Awen also controls all your unconscious body functions. Awen is your Inner Child. Awen is easy to communicate with through dreams and in the day through a pendulum. Accessing Awen through a medium like a pendulum is the easiest, quickest and surest way to disclose your deepest thoughts and desires and so get clarity. To communicate with Awen it is best to give it a name like Awen “George or Mary”. Give it your middle name, the one you otherwise only use for official forms, because your Awen is after all you!
        An important aspect of Awen is that it controls your personal Chi energy. All higher energy is Cosmic Energy but this special naming allows separate identification of the part you can control directly. Chi is best controlled in the Alpha state, the state traditionally entered into by meditation or hypnosis but that modern research shows can also be achieved directly. While it is true that anything you can do in an Alpha state you can also do in your normal waking Beta state, it will happen two hundred times faster in Alpha. This is not only true for psychic/New Age phenomenon but was also discovered to be true years ago for Superlearning (where slow Baroque music was used to achieve the Alpha mind state.) But even as an Alpha conscious right brain activity, Chi healing can be slow. As an example, Jose Silva, a great proponent and pioneer of the Alpha state relates in one of his books how it took three months of thrice daily visits to heal a client. My former Crane Chi Gong instructor passed on that it took him ten months of daily two hour exercise practice to cure his very bad arthritis that his doctors had given up on. (The slow rhythmic movements of Crane Chi Gong put you into the Alpha state as surly as traditional quiet sitting meditation.) If you want to develop your Chi as there are very material benefits to doing this, then the book The Reconnection by Dr. Eric Pearl has some very practical exercises in the second half of it (the first half of the book relates some real life experiences of the fabulous power of Chi in Western healing. Dr. Pearl found he could sometimes heal a person in a room just by walking into it!) Chi in spite of its long history in Eastern cultures is still in its infancy and needs much further research and work.

MIMIR and the MORPHOGENETIC FIELD
     We are all in contact with our human morphogenetic field. This field is constantly being rediscovered from the classic Apollo of the Delphi Oracle to Nikola Tesla’s information field that manifests with cosmic energy, to Carl Jung’s Collective Unconscious, to most recently Rupert Sheldrake’s human morphogenetic field. Various sub aspects of the field are also mentioned throughout history such as the Akashic Record, the Book of Life,  Mesmer’s ethereal fluid, to Wilhelm Reich’s orgone energy to name just a few examples, It also appears as Mimir’s Well in Norse mythology where drinking from its waters gave all knowledge. Such a common human faculty (and it is by our birthright a natural trait) is worthwhile to anthropomorphize so then a good classic name for this field is Mimir (pronounced me-mir), the keeper god of the well. The short and distinct name also makes it easier to talk about various aspects of the morphogenetic field. The amount of good that can be had by being in touch with Mimir is voluminous and contact is a journey where all it takes is consistent and persistent practice.
        Mimir is the actual active agent when people pray to a god (any god) for boons, invoke the Law of Attraction and otherwise Mimir does most of what is commonly called psychic phenomenon. Mimir is an amassed entity drawing on the energy of all of humanity and so controls a humongous amount of Cosmic Energy, which individuals can draw on to focus like light through a magnifying glass.  Rapid healing through this focusing lens while in a Theta mind state is probably the second most popular reason to address Mimir, right after requests for abundance. Also right up there is the reading of the part of Mimir popularly known by names such as the Akashic Record as this can easily be done in an Alpha mind state. When you are very sure and clear of your Intend (wish, strong desire) go directly to Mimir for manifestation, otherwise consult with Anna Gaia first. (Hint: if your Personal Flow, your Beliefs, are not congruent with your Intend, then go to Anna Gaia as she is also the Avatar of Awen, the controlling faculty of your Beliefs.)
        Mimir has one more popular attribute, but one that is often misunderstood. Because of its size it is a “little sister” of the Laplace Demon. This means Mimir is capable of a substantial but still not unlimited amount of divination. The limiting factor is that Mimir only knows what humanity knows and factors outside its ken will eventually impinge on any expected prognostication. You have to go beyond Mimir to the source Ether to glean information for things like sure winning lottery results. Since many people use, consciously or unconsciously, the Law of Attraction (through Mimir) that can influence Lottery results, so Mimir does have some inkling of those results. The Ether is complex.

ANNA GAIA, AVATAR
     Avatars like Anna Gaia are not only no problem, but are an all encompassing convenience as well. Mother goddesses are hard to eradicate as in the example of the Christian Virgin Mary substitution when Christianity flooded Europe. Anna Gaia is the avatar of the trinity of Mimir (Cosmic Energy), Higher Self (the co-coordinator) and Awen (personal Chi.) You get the most bang for your buck with Anna Gaia as you only have to address yourself once to encompass all. She of course is not a “God In Three Persons” like the Christian Holy Trinity as there are no gods and Anna Gaia is just an avatar of unification, a mnemonic if you will. Anna Gaia’s prime power comes from putting you in a comfort zone. The stress relieving factor of “talking to a friend” who is also a mother figure is immeasurable and is the reason this practice has been so irrepressible over the ages. Anna Gaia is also a powerful resource, the power broker if you will, to address when working with the Law of Attraction because as a Trinity Avatar she is the coordinating and connecting link between you and the rest of creation. Addressing a “god” figure represents the natural way the human mind works (as the alpha-male factor of the communal organization expression of the VMAT2 gene, for one) and so is much more efficacious than the alternatives which are often akin to of tilting at windmills with stray imagination. Anna Gaia appears to work best when the Alpha state is induced through training yourself to enter that state at will or else by using props like meditation or prayer. The Silva book You The Healer teaches you to go into Alpha to a countdown of five after only forty days of practice. Then use an NLP anchor and eventually you will be able to be in Alpha just by willing it. (Be sure to check out your being in your Alpha brain wave state with a pendulum as consciously it is normally difficult to tell.) No need to spend years in Eastern esoteric and meditative practices; none of them does any more than put yon into Alpha (maybe down to Theta for the more involved ones) and they then give exercises to make use of the state to varying degrees of success. Western scientific knowledge beats out convoluted Eastern intuitive evolved practices.
        Anna Gaia satisfies our most basic instincts as social animals with a strong need to “talk to a friend.” She further represents the mother figure that has such fantastically strong ties to us emotionally from childhood on. A child can feel “deserted” by his mother, even if it only lasts a short hour or so while mom is doing something like rounding up the other kids. Feelings of desertion (imagined as well as real) can leave life long emotional scars that can also turn into personality disorders (it has been linked to adult schizophrenia.) The Smothers Brothers on their old TV show brought to the public eye the negatively debilitating variation: “Mom always liked you best.” The claim of Mother Goddesses or an avatar like Anna Gaia as successful soothing surrogates is undeniable.
        Anna Gaia has a full name of Mother Nature Anna Gaia (call it a title) as this Trinity avatar by default also inclusively represents the controlling natural forces of our Material World. She is the Cosmic Energy queen and Einstein told us that E=MC2 so that she is all. One benefit is that by addressing this Trinity Avatar it is never needed to directly address the Higher Self which has no unique energy and so is redundant to address separately; it can only co-ordinate anyway. (Notwithstanding that many people have found it useful and productive to uniquely address their Higher Self/Guardian Angel; Edgar Cayce doing his channeling comes to mind.) Anna Gaia’s name comes from Anna, one of the very oldest goddess names whose original special attributes are lost in the mists of time. Gaia is the Classical Greek goddess that is the Mother Earth (and maybe the original channeled Delphi Oracle.) The two names generously encompass the “ah” sound that is found around the world and throughout time to be incorporated into god names. (Yahweh, Allah. Buddha, Shiva, etc.)

SPIRIT GUIDES
      Spirit Guides (and assorted Angels, Jinns, native Spirit Animals, Tibetan Buddhist’s Dakinis and other beyond physical entities by various cultural names, a tradition going back to prehistory) are the offspring of Mimir, mini avatars if you will. They are ad hoc entities created to help in communication.  Mimir speaks to us through our imagination and through the symbols we know and that we accept. They exist for the same reason that Mimir supports us and answers prayers, Mimir is us. Just as Mimir is the actual answerer of any prayer that is prayed to any god, Mimir is more subtle and complex than just an imagined booming god voice from the heavens above. Mimir is accommodating and will address you the way you want to be addressed, and in your comfort zone. It is individual attention to you. Spirit Guides are ad hoc created communication devices like the iPhone Siri.
        An interesting variant application is the imaginary Mastermind team created by Napoleon Hill. It is a case of Napoleon Hill being able to enter the Alpha state and manipulate it for his needs, something that can be naturally done by some individuals, especially creative ones. The Alpha state is very common and is the secret ingredient of Eastern gurus and holy men, no matter what they try to claim as being so very special about their practices. This just further demonstrates the plastic malleability of Mimir to an individual’s needs.

BEYOND MIMIR – The Unknown Country
Mimir is not the entire Ether Realm but shares it with other morphic fields, our Ancestors, and a myriad of other Ether entities as well as other phenomenon that we can only dream about. For example: some find that to be able to go into the Delta mind state and so go beyond Mimir will render more profound divinations, manifestations, healings, etc. Beyond Mimir is the Unknown Country for future explorers.

   The basic most tenet of brainwashing is that if something is heard or repeated often enough then that it is eventually believed, no matter what it is. Religions make use of this principle to the max to create and then hold on to their adherents. Brainwashing, or more politely: subvert conditioning, is a major dynamic in play that is not often thought about as part of the typical religious experience. Since gods are fairy tales that don’t exist, just adult Santa Clauses, religions have gravitated to this brainwashing induction (it is their belief basis) to create adherents and then religions  hold on to the  brainwashing technique to generate further inertia and keep adherents. By contrast, in what profession do you have to keep retaking courses after you have passed the final exam and graduated?  Once a belief is accepted by the subconscious it becomes over time a self perpetuating deeper and deeper comfort zone rut that is harder and harder to get rid of.  The subconscious naturally gravitates to the familiar, and so to it safe, rather than accept a new untested mode of action or thinking.

    Early indoctrination by parents (overt and covert just by being role models) sets the pattern.DNAsupplies the vessel because the VMAT2 gene finds its expression by providing the conditioning, for us genetic social animals and leader followers, to want and to accept an ethereal alpha male. Having a child say his prayers at night before bed sounds wholesome and picturesque but it is some of a person’s earliest brainwashing. What young child seriously questions the god they are being indoctrinated into by their parents to believe in? Religion becomes the Ponzi scheme in life. You keep buying in and can never cash out.

    Blind religious following does have its dire consequences at times. It was just recently in the news where Afghanistan, by demonstrated example that can only be called a backward and simpleton country, was pressured by what has to be taken as perverted and sadistic misogynist clerics (but following their religious beliefs) to put into civil law that a husband now has the legal right to beat up his wife. This Sharia Law application is here as much a human rights violation as anything that any other offence aThird Worldcountry (or even a large economy likeChina) is guilty of. Nor are theUnited Statesand other countries without shame as they actively support this theocracy.

    Another victim of this brainwashing is intelligence. It is the brainwashing factor that allows people to believe in fairy tale imaginary gods as there is not a shred of factual evidence or proof that such a god exists to justify their belief. This gullibility factor is well exemplified by the Mormon religion. The story is that founder Joseph Smith received the texts from god on gold tablets that mysteriously disappeared very quickly right after so that no proof remains. (Did he in reality channel the Akashic Records?) Even Moses was allowed to keep the tablets with the commandments.

 BELIEF TENACITY
   Once a belief is created it becomes a comfort zone rut that a person wants to stay in. These ingrained beliefs are the bug-a-boo of using the Law of Attraction and psychic energy healing to manifest change. You don’t have to read far into the manifesting literature to come away impressed by the awesome power and persistence of established beliefs. (For example the perverted belief that money is evil, even though the Bible clearly states it is the love of money that is the evil, is very prevalent and limiting.) In everyday life Margaret Hefferman explores the persistence of beliefs in her book Willful Blindness, a good and enlightening read.

    Ask a religious person what is their proof that their ingrained belief, their god, actually exists in reality? Ask to sit down with their god and discuss his religion with him over a cup of coffee. You could do this if the god was real. Never mind the fantasized and concocted old bromide cop-out excuses as to why he is too superior to be able to do this. The only place you hear of the supposed reality of a god is from adherents or priests, a self-fulfilling prophesy.

    A god is an abstract generated belief so there is no reality proof. If the adherent tries to turn it around and say that you cannot disprove their god, then that is just a grabbing at straws defense. Ask them if they believe in a Santa Claus who comes down chimneys to deliver presents. Then explain that the same proof they have that Santa is a figment of the imagination is the identical same proof that their god isn’t! A god, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and other abstract things that go bump in the night all have the same fiction in common and cannot be made real by the ploy of claiming they cannot be disproved. When you say to me that your god is real without any proof of his existence (and no one over the centuries has ever found proof beyond emotionalism), what I hear is that your imaginary friend is trying to say I have the mental problem.

ADULT PERPETUATION
   There is systemic brainwashing among “ferverts” (fervent adherents) who “give themselves to god.” In monasteries there is a celebration through prayers of the Divine Offices, Devine Services or the Anglican Daily Office which are usually seven prayers a day at specific times. as specified in texts like the Book of Hours. Much Christian practice stems from the early Jewish practices as found in the Book of Acts, so there is a long and varied history of this type of brainwashing. Seven times daily is actually overkill as most modern motivation gurus say that affirmations need not be repeated for more than three times day and then for twenty one days to make it a habit. On a positive aside note we actually owe much of the early development of modern timepieces to these monks who wanted to keep regularly timed and kept “hours of the day” for their prayers.

    An interesting anomaly and further application of brainwashing is the Catholic Rosary. Traditionally the rosary was given to Saint Dominic in an apparition (visualization of imaginary states is nothing “New Age” new) by the Virgin Mary way back in the year 1214. The practice was standardized, based on the long-standing custom, by Pope St. Pius V in the 16th century. All this even though Jesus in his Sermon on the Mound specifically forbade mindless repetition of prayers. The revisionists apparently knew more about god than Jesus!

    Christianity is not alone. Moslems conduct brainwashing prayers five times a day and even ungod (shades of Lewis Carroll) Buddhists have their prayer beads and wheels. And one further thought: it is cute when a little child has an imaginary friend, but rather pathetic when an adult still holds on to one. Even in the Bible we find: “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” Sane and mature adults should not have imaginary friends even if those friends are elevated to godhood.

ADULTS CAN DISTINGUISH THE DIFFERENCE
   As a final general note, people like Napoleon Hill very successfully developed imaginary Master Mind groups to tap into what people like Carl Jung called our Collective Unconscious, Nicola Tesla as an information field or that Rupert Sheldrake identifies as our morphogenetic field. This is different because it is known the group members are not really real, have no god powers, and are just a device to garner knowledge; much like an interface for a Wi-Fi connected tablet of the mind (in the same vein as the iPhone Siri.) This contact phenomenon is also something  science will eventually catch up to and quantify and understand (but just ask a religious adherent if science will one day explain their god and that then their god will come under the control of natural scientific laws, and thus apparently capable of being controlled by the adherent!) Science still does not know everything; to paraphrase Shakespeare: “There are more things in heaven and earth, Mr. Scientist, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.” But someday it will!

 DENOUEMENT
   All this means that a devoted person’s true, deep belief is just the brainwashed acceptance of a meme that there is an actual, real but non-existent imagined fairy tale god. Belief in an adult Santa Claus if you will. (It has been said that the difference between children and adults is the size of their toys.)

You cannot consciously tell the difference as to whether you are in Beta (the normal waking state), Alpha or Theta. The Mental Pendulum is a great tool to let you know where you are. Just ask it.

ALPHA
You the Healer by Jose Silva and Robert B. Stone will in forty days teach you to reach Alpha to a countdown of five. It will also teach you slow but not difficult Alpha state healing as well. Jose Silva in the book did three healing rituals a day for two months straight to heal a client. This is the Western equivalent to working with Chi in practices like Crane Qi Gong which have similar time constraints. The admonition also applies to other practices where the energy is called Ki, Prana, Kundalini, meridian tapping, etcetera or even Western names like Orgone Energy or Mesmer’s Etherial Fluid. They all work manipulating energy by whatever name in the Alpha state. Alpha in some respects (such as in the learning of Super Learning of Sheila Ostrander and Lynn Schroeder) is measured to be two hundred times faster then Beta so trying energy healing in Beta can be very slow work even if it is held that anything that can be done in Alpha can also be done in Beta.

THETA
Teach Yourself Theta quickly, easily and simply! by James F. Coyle will let you enter Theta by concentrating on the Greek letter b. It is recommended that you be in Alpha to learn Theta by this method. Theta state healing is the fastest. Read ThetaHealing by Vianna Stibal where she is able to perform even complicated healings in one sitting. The healing ritual is much more involved though as it also includes rooting out negative destructive beliefs and memories in as many a four different bodily repositories.

DELTA
Staying conscious while in Delta takes a lot of work and possibly has some dangers so better to avoid it unless you are very serious and sure of your capabilities. It is the “Unknown Country” that is the furthest frontier of the mind levels. The Beyond Belief book will explain. There is little research on Gamma so it might be very productive and more fun to go there instead.

MENTAL PENDULUM
Beyond Belief, The Ultimate Mind Power Manual by James F. Coyle teaches you the Mental Pendulum of using thumb twitching to get answers from your inner mind, in any state, Beta included. A great convenience and life long useful skill. You can add to its usefulness by using your index fingers to get the recommended and revealing Don’t Know/Won’t Reveal answers described in the Neo-Enneagram monogram listed below. A delay to an answer once you are proficient, such as up to two seconds, can mean there are unconsidered aspects to the question and you should do some introspection.

REGULAR PENDULUM
My monogram Neo-Enneagram (a free download at http://awenman.com/neoenneagram.pdf or click on the link in the right column here) has a section that will teach you to use the regular traditional pendulum very quickly and easily (at the start of your first sitting normally.) If you are taking the trouble to learn to enter Alpha (very easy, see above) and/or Theta the regular pendulum will let you know if you are in state without learning the Mental Pendulum which for some people can be an arduous long term task (the training does appear to take time and persistence.) The regular pendulum can be used to help clarify dreams, intuitive “feeling” messages, and other messages (as in the “little voice” type) you may have gotten from your subconscious. The regular pendulum will also let you question your subconscious directly to get messages from it as to what your deeper true thoughts and desires are (great for decision making when you are unsure) and with a little practice and patience will also let you access the Akashic Record. The regular pendulum can be your saving knight in shining armor for contacting your subconscious if Alpha and Theta (where it is possible to get verbal, etc. messages) sound like too much work to learn to access (though an Ubermensch of Nietzsche or Superior Man of Confucius will want all the extra benefits of these states.)

   Spirituality is a higher path! Bah, humbug! Spirituality is a lower level path. Priests and other “holy” men do not teach something from “higher up” but something from the depths of our old brain animal being. It is the consciousness of genetically created knowledge. It is how our genes are expressing themselves to let us know their demands. It is in fact our deep animal side that comes from the older basal animal and reptile brains. Because it comes from the deeper animal brain is why it is so often held to be so deep and profound, it is our most basic instinct. Since this knowledge comes from such primal depths it is often referred to by sayings such a knowing it in your “heart of hearts.” (In case you haven’t come across it before science can divide all of the human brain into three parts. Through evolution we first had reptile brains that then grew the animal mid brain components on top as we evolved into mammals. About two million years ago, concurrent with our discovery of cooking by controlling fire, we evolved to grow the uppermost human brain components, the parts that make us conscious thinking humans and apart from animals. Before you get too conceited, we humans don’t have anything that cannot be found in other animals, we just have more of the right stuff.)

    Since we are social pack animals and not loners much of what is experienced as spirituality is to be able to live together successfully in a social setting and with an innate drive to follow an alpha male. Two epitomes of this driving instinctive force are recognized in the sayings: “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” and “I am my brothers keeper” as well as our incessant propensity to always have an alpha male leader, whether a sometimes subverted one as in a book club or sewing circle or overt ones as in committees on up to government.

 LESSON FROM THE ANIMAL WORLD
   Wolves are social pack animals while a coyote is a loner, Wolves do not go to regular wolf church services where they learn how to live socially together according to the teachings of their wolf god. Wolves live as groups and families with alpha-male heads because they are genetically predisposed to do so. Coyotes on the other hand also don’t pray in silence to their coyote god who tells them to be loners. Humans like wolves and coyotes live according to the direction of their genetic propensities at an unconscious level. Since humans have consciousness when one of these unconscious propensities makes itself known to the conscious mind it is what is experienced as an “aha” moment or “spiritual” epiphany.  Religions codify these epiphanies, usually under the auspices of a fantasized ethereal alpha-male “god” as this hierarchy conforms to physical social reality, to help humans make conscious sense of these epiphanies.

    Genes don’t have a voice or language to talk to us. Besides “aha” moments they let us know what the programming is by giving us feelings of “just knowing.” Freud gave this phenomenon the name Superego. The Acquired Spirituality discussed next works the same unconscious way as spirituality and comes under the same Superego control.

 ACQUIRED SPIRITUALITY
   As humans we are physically puny animals so as a survival tactic we evolved as a survival tactic subconscious “programs” that let us use past experience as a guide and modifier to instinctive actions as well as the model for current actions. Animals also developed this but not anywhere to the degree of conscious thinking humans. This system works well for animals and early primitive societies where life was pretty much monotonously the same from life to death. Today this reliance on past experience as a comfortable rut controller of activity can cause serious problems.  A sad case are the majority of serious lottery winners who within a few years revert to their former fiscal state, they just don’t have the tools to handle instant wealth. Far worse is Post Traumatic Shock where past experience inappropriately intrudes on current life. In the popular press one can read in the Silva Method material where a doctor has found that schizophrenia is an outcome of the early childhood trauma of a child feeling (in the child’s mind) abandoned by its mother. In more common terms these programs will stymie efforts with the Law of Attraction and return illnesses that have been cured of symptoms. (Dr. Loyd in The Healing Codes makes the very strong case that all illnesses stem from this subconscious programming through the stress they produce.)

 RELIGION CONNECTION DISSECTED
    Spirituality is so often associated with religion because we have a VMAT2 gene for religion – one that is geared to expressing (the geneticist’s term) in the conscious mind with an alpha male for that consciousness mind. As part of this innate genetic factor there also appears to be a propensity to carry on religious storylines as repeated memes: e.g.: the Egyptian god Horus “died to save his followers from their sins” ages before (as written records prove) the same claim was made for Jesus. Joseph Campbell in his Transformations of Myths Through Time lectures (available in transcript form from Amazon.com; and is recommended) does an excellent job of explaining how humans recycle spirituality repeatedly through time.

    Religion being genetic driven explains why it is universal and why the gods and tenets change according to the parents and times you were born into. Religions that are carried forward also incorporate practical ad hoc solutions like the Acquired Spiritually described above when it has extended value; examples being the Kosher and Halal laws.

 SPIRITUALITY THE GIFT OF A GOD?
   A religious person will say that their spirituality is a gift from their god. This is as phony a statement as their god himself. Search the Internet for where someone proves that their god exists. That is a futile exercise where the best that you can find is blind belief as an excuse. What you do get is an emotional feels good story like presented more than a century ago in the editorial “YesVirginia, there is a Santa Claus” as supposed proof of an actual being. A heart tugging story like that is just a reflection of emotional desire; and you are a child if you buy into this because your best effort is a futile blind belief of your god’s existence. (The god and Santa comparison is not that far fetched as they both watch who is naughty and nice; one to distribute physical presents and the other to decide on giving the present of entering heaven.)  A simple test is to ask where can you sit down with this god and discuss his religion with him over a cup of coffee. With a real entity you could do this but with a made up children’s fairy tale this is impossible. In the Bible in 1 Corinthians is “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” When a six year old has an imaginary friend it is considered cute, but not so cute when an adult still has an imaginary friend. (e.g.: to quote from the Napoleon XIV song and combine it with the Christian hymn: “They are coming to take me away, ha-haaa” because “what a friend we have in Jesus.”) If there is no god then spirituality cannot come from one.

 Primitives have religions to try to explain their genetic propensities but the Ubermensch of Nietzsche (the Superior Man of Confucius) knows that spirituality cannot come from a god because there is no god.

   You can spend a fortune on a plethora of the current crop of Internet programs that promise success with the Law of Attraction by overcoming a nebulous “black box” subconscious barrier; or gatekeeper or conscious conflict as it is sometimes called. (And all are ready to take your money for their “special” and “insider” secret cures. The sad ones are where a free, out of copyright, book is offered as an expensive solution because it was magically somehow just rediscovered.) In truth there are four distinct memory repositories, Orgone Energy Areas or Fields, that have to be addressed and a one size fits all approach to change does not always work. Oriental Dantian energy centers (and related here to Hindu chakras) do a better job of explanation. A Dantian is like a meal that has different chakra components of an appetizer, a salad, an entrée, and a desert that can be distinguished. It is still a meal and all is just food in the stomach. The chakras are unique energy vortexes of your consciousness that are specialized energy subprograms of your master Dantian energy center for doing specific tasks. The Hindu chakra concepts are important, if not directly involved in memory energy clearing, as the philosophy gives us the energy concept of Karma (here further delineated as the Central Channel), which is most often seen as the primary human aura, and is the core important “memory repository” responsible for future personal actions and events. Personal Karma must be cleared and shaped to give us the future we want, it is like an overriding protective shell to the rest of you. A NOTE: the Soul and Earth chakras do not often appear in much traditional chakra literature because they are more terminals (of the Karma Central Channel) than energy centers and in energy terms connect you with the Earth/Ether Realms – when you send your personal energy to either realm it actually goes through these points as it exists your primary aura even if many traditional texts read as if it goes directly from the root/crown chakras.

MEMORY REPOSITORY CENTERS
   Memories are strange animals that once formed can never be completely lost and are more than the conventional current scientific concept of physical neuron connections in the brain. Science however does tell us that the mind breaks down human experience into components, components that are stored separately but recombined when needed (hence the four repositories that must be addressed.) A person is during their lifetimes bombarded with a humongous amount of information, often contradictory. This means that the mind has evolved to function by seeking out and following what it sees as the “strongest” appropriate memory as its favored reaction mode. These memories are also often referred to as “beliefs.” What is the “strongest” and “appropriate” can be changed, which is what all the self-help books on positive thinking and reframing depend on. The unfortunate practice of brainwashing uses constant repetition to create a new “strongest” memory because by repeating something often enough (think obnoxiously repeated TV commercials) the mind will eventually accept anything as true. This is actually a good thing when using the repeated affirmation technique. Strong emotions, traumatic events and “authority” figures are capable of instantly changing the “strongest” memory accessed. Hypnosis is a great change tool as it creates an instant “authority” figure that is given greater (but not absolute) credibility. It is these dominant “strongest” memories that are always of interest in manifesting actions and so are the ones alluded to in discussions,

        The same memory can exist in one or all the repository centers, and is reacted on wherever it is. The mind is flexible and a general addressing of a change will be directed to the right area (but not always or automatically accepted – this is the gatekeeper function.) Unwanted countering “strongest” memories is why the Law of Attraction has such a high failure rate, the lack of congruency takes its toll. The subconscious mind will try to protect us by gravitating to established memories that are in its comfort zone. This means that a psychic solution is most efficacious as science tells us it can take up to twenty one days for a new habit to form by conventional means. Mimir (pronounced me-mir), the Viking name for Carl Jung’s named Collective Unconscious is the best path towards change. Addressing Mimir’s Akashic Record function ferrets out the source and nature of all the unwanted memories. Much material on how to do this contact is available but the Silva Method as described in You The Healer is a good book for a methodology. Then appealing to Mimir’s amassed Orgone Energy (as a vast collective) is the best cure. While in Theta do this by “commanding” Mimir for the unwanted memories to be minimized and replaced with positive and affirmative mental mindsets. (This “command” technique is resourced from Vianna Stibal in her book ThetaHealing and is also reflected in the “demand” of Frank Channing Haddock’s books written much earlier.) NOTE: Congruency of memories (i.e. being totally in your Personal Flow) is important in manifesting and the clearing of ISA (ISA from the Viking Runes: personally destructive programs that cause unwanted circumstances e.g. an illness) memories is crucial so as not to be re-infected after a cure. N.B. Methyl markers that attach to your DNA through extended experience (such as to poverty) need also to be cleared along with cellular memories for total congruency.

ORGONE and MIMIR
   As a note of interest Nikola Tesla, the father of modern electricity, identified Mimir in 1904 as an Information Field that manifests through Cosmic Energy. Cosmic Energy often has psychic, New Age, and unreal connotations associated with it so it might be more efficacious to use the more scientifically derived Orgone Energy. Orgone is a Western name proposed in the 1930s by Wilhelm Reich for Cosmic Energy that in other cultures is called prana, kundalini and chi to name just a few of the legions of names given to it over the ages. You want to appeal to Mimir’s amassed energy as it is so much powerful than your own personal Orgone Energy that you can control. You in effect become a controlling transistor or focusing lens for Mimir’s energy. Mimir is a human collective that is a little sister to the Laplace Demon. That it is a human collective explains why it can be accessed and used as a predictor for human conditions and forecastable futures; however it can see only so far ahead before events outside its ken fuzzies the picture. As a human reflection Mimir knows nothing that humans don’t know and so is the classic failure for predicting lottery winning numbers. A good book with exercises on enhancing and controlling your own energy is The Reconnection by Dr. Eric Pearl. (NOTE: Personal Orgone in Alpha can produce healing signs in week(s) and complete healing in month(s) through positive techniques. Healing attempts in Beta take longer and instant healing is possible in Theta by invoking Mimir.)

REINCARNATION and POSSESSIONS
   When it is realized that memories are cohesive energy constructs and much more than the neuron connections envisioned by science, much becomes explained. A cohesive memory unit(s) is in the Ether Plane (as the “shadow” of the Physical Plane Dantian energies, scientific eleven dimension String Theory explains this) and like the soul that it is a part of does not die on physical death. The Law of Attraction is always at work and living people can become attracted to these memory units. Once attracted the well known phenomenon of the mind not being able to distinguish between one’s own and acquired implanted memories kicks in. This is the explanation for reincarnation and past lives recall philosophies. Since memory energies form while a person is alive it also explains why some past lives researchers have found that supposed past lives memories are actually the memories of living persons,

        Ghosts, strong energy units that often develop a physical world expression, and possessions by “evil spirits,” the bad attraction of destructive energy units, become explained here and are not just the subject of horror movies. The real mangled horror story is in Western movies where a Christian priest, usually Catholic, supposedly has a special “in” with his God to be able to do an exorcism “through the power of God” because other cultures, and throughout the ages, this exorcism has been very successfully performed with no inkling of, or reference to, the Christian God. YouTube has numerous examples of Islamic Jinn exorcism by use of the Quran. In the East these possessing “spirit” memories are often referred to as Jinn which might be a good general name for this phenomenon.

   Science tells us that we live in an eleven dimensional universe where the smallest matter is actually energy in a form variously called strings, loops, branes, etc according to the latest version of the cosmology theory. We experience four of those dimensions as our Physical Universe and the other seven have been classically called the Ether Realm. We as humans exist in all the dimensions but mainstream scientists reject any experience beyond the physical as psychic nonsense, calling it anecdotal evidence that doesn’t count as science. What we have to keep in mind is that the science of the day once held that the earth was the center of the universe. Much can be explained if we don’t insist on the rigorous scientific method to analyze human experiences; the science can come later as it always has. The justification for exploring the Ether Realm in mind models is that Einstein claimed that this was the only successful way for groundbreaking new research, and developed his General Theory of Relativity this way to prove it.

    The placebo effect sometimes has a bad reputation because a standard medical way to invoke it is with a harmless sugar pill. What is acknowledged is that the active agent is the mind, but it is normally just left at that. What an understanding of the Ether Realm tells us is that the mind activates the body’s store of Orgone Energy to do the work. Orgone is a Western name proposed in the 1930’s by Wilhelm Reich for Cosmic Energy that in other cultures is called prana, kundalini and chi to name just a few of the legions of names given to it over the ages.

 MIMIR
   The part of us that is in the Ether Realm follows the Law of Attraction of Alikes (just like gravity) and forms a coalesced grouping that Carl Jung identified as our Collective Unconscious. Again over time and cultures it has been variously identified; and it is very commonly known as the Akashic Record due to one of its attributes. Nikola Tesla (the father of modern electricity) identified it as an Information Field that also manifests in our physical universe through Cosmic Energy. This energy is the same phenomenon as personal Orgone Energy but since the Collective Unconscious comprises of all humanity, present and past, its potential amassed manifesting power is humongous. My favorite identification for this Ether Realm collective phenomenon is the Viking name Mimir (pronounced me-mir) from the Norse legend of Mimir’s Well at the roots of the Yggdrasil World Tree where anyone drinking of the water had all knowledge.

 THE  ALPHA  STATE
   In our bicameral brain the left logical brain is associated with dominantly Beta frequency brain wave activity and the right half with creativity and Alpha brain wave activity when the creativity is active. The Silva Method (in the You The Healer book) in unison with conventional science explains that while Beta is our normal thinking mode that there is a continuous nonstop micro firing of Alpha waves, about thirty times a second for a micro second each. Their research shows that creative people spend extended time in Alpha mode naturally. New Age meditation also loves Alpha and research shows we do our best learning in that state. Super-Learning by Sheila Ostrander,Lynn Schroederand Nancy Ostranderis a good read on this. What the Silva method also shows is that it is in Alpha that we access Orgone Energy (just as Tesla postulated decades earlier when working with Mimir.) In the Alpha state you can access Mimir to read the Akashic Record information (including for divination), do healings, astral project, receive premonitions and do most of what are considered psychic phenomenon.

    The Silva Method teaches consciously entering Alpha in an easy to follow forty day program to train the mind, The Reconnection by Dr Eric Pearl teaches direct control of Orgone Energy with specific exercises; and the list goes on and on with books like Zero Limits by Joe Vitale and Ihaleakala Hew Len teaching a Hawaiian kahuna approach and popular courses like Crane Qi Gong giving an oriental flavor. The point being made is that since it is so easy to enter Alpha, experiences that are considered psychic are universal and commonplace. It is so easy to read the Akashic Record that Linda Howe teaches to access reading it by use of a simple prayer in How To Read The Akashic Records. The trick is to recognize that it can be done and so make use of it.

    Alpha is also done unconsciously by people like the famous Napoleon Hill who formulated an imaginary MasterMind team and drew information that he knew he did not know from Mimir, though he never knew where the information came from. Much self-help literature advices to appeal to a higher power for help or to sleep on it and let your subconscious seek out the solution without ever giving an explanation of where information you don’t know comes from. The Power of Premonitions by Larry Dossey is a good book on this human ability and demonstrates how natural it is. The unmentioned secret in all of this is that people naturally and unconsciously enter Alpha to achieve the results.

 HEALING
   It is well documented that you can enter the Alpha state and use Orgone Energy to do healing. There are even books like The Healing Codes by Dr. Alexander Loyd that make successful use of Alpha/Orgone without recognizing that this is what is actually happening, the claim being it is stress reduction and finger pointing at healing points that initiates the cure. Dr. Zhi Gang Sha’s books in the Soul Power Series are in a similar vein. Entering Alpha and then utilization of Orgone Energy is so natural and easy for people to do that it is often just called the “preliminaries” of being relaxed and having the desire for something to happen. The simplicity means the Alpha/Orgone is obliviously ignored as the real active ingredient and the cure attributed to something the logical Beta mind can identify with.

    The problem with using Orgone in your Alpha state is that you are an individual and the amount of energy you can muster by yourself is very limited. Often you are restricted to allowing the body to heal itself rather than a direct cure. This results in there often being long healing times. A Crane Qi Gong master I know cured himself of a very, very bad case of arthritis by doing two hours of the exercises a day for ten months. A long time but he succeeded with a condition that Western doctors had given up on. Also the mental program stressor is not always automatically addressed so that without Belief Work (as outlined in the ThetaHealing reference below) there is the problem of eventual recidivism to the illness. A parallel is the recidivism problem with a recent six hundred calorie fasting cure for Type 2 diabetes found by theNewcastleUniversityteam in theUK. A forced cure, Alpha/Orgone or physical, will not always affect mental Belief programs.

    The secret of a quick cure is to go into Theta and then use your mind like a transistor to control the flow of Orgone Energy from Mimir. It can also be compared to you making yourself a lens to concentrate and direct the energy. Vianna Stibal gives a good description of this technique in ThetaHealing though she attributes the healing to the Creator Of All That Is. She is strong on getting the patient’s permission though other sources (such as The Reconnection or Soul Power Series of books already mentioned) seem to be able to ignore this by being ignorant of its need. Where she seems to be right on the money is in doing Belief Work she outlines to make the healings permanent. If you only cure the symptoms (as is often the case in a modern doctor’s efforts to control your condition) the malady will come back for the same reason it occurred originally. As a note: you also encounter the fantastic importance of Belief Work in manifesting with the Law of Attraction, your mental ecology is all important.

    Occam’s Razor confirms that all the multitude of the world’s and history’s names for the forces at work come down to AOM: Alpha, Orgone and Mimir. (Does pronouncing AOM sound like a traditional Zen meditative chant? After that healing and all other psychic phenomenon reflect back on Shakespeare’s Hamlet saying: “There are more things in heaven and earth, Mr. Scientist, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.” Next is The Undiscovered Country of Delta that hints to hold much magic.

Most humans are egotists, thinking they are well above our animal cousins in mental ability, above the type of animal we evolved from. (The religious right of course are real far out cases thinking we did not evolve but were directly made in the image of their god, whatever type of creature he is.)

An unfortunate truth is that most people are only one small step above “animals” as witnessed by their predilection to espouse some sort of religion with an imaginary alpha male. Pure Buddhism or Confucianism do rise above this by instinctively advocating a “way” as does Unitarianism Universalism in the modern West. Modern Buddhism is a little suspect of revisionism as demonstrated by most typically cherub Buddhas (originally they were empty footprints) that abound as are the Catholic’s idols of Christ and the Saints – as Shakespeare said: a rose by any other name…

Religious propensity comes from our older basal animal brain – a no thinking “brainless” activity in response to genetic programming; an activity response that we hold in common with lower animals. The difference is that religion comes from a human evolved (to protect our sentience) VMAT2 gene that animals do not possess. Religious believers try to elevate this animal function by superimposing conscious thought and (sometimes wild) imagination. Religious dictum is at core just the expression in language of our natural genetic instincts as social animals (which accounts for the observed similarities of the world’s religions) while adjusted appropriately for the ecology (as in for example Kosher and Halal laws.) In university I learned that anthropologists could correctly predict the form of a local culture’s religion by knowing the ecology – people are that predictable since there is no higher power involved to say otherwise.

EVOLVED BEINGS
True further evolved humans are able to use their prefrontal cortex to its potential and realize the religions of the world are fairy tales, very often being memes of older perpetuated folk tales. Some such memes are called myths as in the man-god myth that can be traced back to the ancient Egyptian mystery schools and culminates in the Gospels. Christianity was formulated in a mid-eastern pastoral society that is far removed from the realities of a modern Western culture where it is so prevalent, which means the Bible is somewhat dated. (Read the Book of Joshua where it is written that God is greedy for wealth and genocidal.) Not that there isn’t wisdom in ancient “holy” books. In the Bible is a passage that reads “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” The hymn goes “Oh what a friend we have in Jesus.” It is cute for a six year old to have an imaginary friend but it is not so cute when that person is an adult.

THE GOSPELS AS PLAGIARISM
The early Christian cult leaders were not dummies but they had a dilemma. Their “god” cult leader had just been publicly executed as a common criminal so they were behind the proverbial eight-ball in their expansion efforts – it was just bad public optics. The first task was to put a good spin on the humiliating death and very conveniently according to the well known Horus myth in neighboring Egypt Horus died nobly (publicly executed by being tied to a tree and left to die) to save his followers from their sins. After that is was natural step to “adopt” the rest of the successful Horus story as a means to increase membership; to the tune of modern scholarship finding more than four hundred points of commonality. Beside humble virgin births, pre-birth supernatural announcements to the mother, visitations by “wise” men, persecution by a monarch. walking on water, turning water into wine, healings and raising of the dead they both are of royal lineage and had stars rise in honor of their birth. (At least we know the Horus star is Sirius, the brightest star in the sky; no-one seems to know what the Christian one is – the early cult leaders fumbled the ball on this one.) Modern mythologists would be more kind and instead of calling it plagiarism would say they are just two more cycles in the very popular and oft repeated around the world man-god myth.

 Is plagiarism too strong a word to describe what the early Christian cult leaders did? Compare the modern case of where today three authors are suing author Zhang Ling in a Canadian court for $6,000,000 for copyright infringement because of alleged plagiarizing of their intellectual property. In their words there was “blatant disregard” and “purposely coping multiple elements.” They found fifty key examples of original elements that have been substantially copied between her Gold Mountain Blues and their earlier works. But then again who can sue two thousand year old Christian cult leaders for their four hundred plus “purposely coping multiple elements” when the Horus myth is but a cycle in itself. Moderns have to follow the classic caveat emptor “let the buyer beware” advice!

THE TIMES THEY ARE A CHANGIN’
Once upon a time the Inquisition put to death people who denied the “god given” truth that the Earth was the center of the universe and ten million women were burned to death as witches during the Burning Time (they even outdid the Holocaust.) But the human race is evolving (if slowly) and with the coming of the Global Village parochial religious views cannot stand up to the truth that there is no god. Even in formerly religious Muslim countries women are now driving cars and being educated. We are in a transition time with a bright future of an intelligent humanity before us.

A commonly asked question is what is the difference between hypnosis and meditation? The correct answer is that there is no difference in what is achieved. The difference is the technique used to access the subconscious (alpha and theta state) mind while suppressing the interference of the conscious (beta state) mind. Hypnosis can be looked at as an “active” method where the hypnotist uses a slow and hypnotic way of speaking to bore the conscious mind into shutting down while meditation is a “passive” method of boring the conscious mind with repetitive techniques like concentrating on a repeated aum sound or a candle flame.

IMPORTANT BENEFIT
   An important benefit of quieting the conscious mind is that this gives very easy access to what is most commonly known as the Akashic Record. Linda Howe in How To Read The Akashic Records (please Google) gives a very easy classic “prayer” technique of just asking. It is that simple (once your conscious mind is properly quiet.) Visually oriented people (up to eighty percent of the population) like Vianna Stibal in her book ThetaHealing (please Google) describe how the visual mind creates “planes” (commonly seven, as in the classic seventh heaven) to go through to reach the deepest levels of conscious mind suppression. The planes are quite unnecessary except as visual mental comfort food as Linda Howe’s direct access amply demonstrates. This very simple access by just putting yourself in a quiet contemplative state is the reason every culture throughout history has their own named Akashic Record.  (The Book of Life or Book of God in the Christian/Judeo tradition as an example.) The Akashic Record is most descriptively described by Carl Jung as the human Collective Unconscious (the what is it) or very simply by Nikola Tesla (the father of modern electricity) as an Information Field that manifests in our world through Cosmic Energy. (Please note Tesla’s finding of the manifesting powers as this is germane in the next paragraph on healing.) My personal favorite name is Mimir (pronounced me-mir) as this is the Viking name for this. In the Norse mythology anyone drinking of the waters of Mimir’s Well received all knowledge, a nicely poetic analogy.

TRUE PROFOUND HEALING
   True spiritual and psychic healers access the manifesting powers of Mimir to do the healing work because as a humongous amassed collective it is infinitely more powerful than any individual. Most modern spiritual and psychic practitioners of healing (who call themselves as such) do not make this access and depend on the rituals and overt practices of healing modalities like Reiki, EFT, acupuncture, laying on of hands, Qi, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera to induce the powerful mental healing Placebo Effect to give the illusion that they are performing more profound healing work.

 THE BETTER WAY
   Practitioners of self hypnosis and meditation often find a shortcoming in that they fall asleep partway through the session. Once asleep any objective you are trying to achieve goes by the wayside. The solution is to use a self hypnosis tape as even if you fall asleep your subconscious mind is still being addressed. Steve G. Jones in a program entitled “The Wealth Trigger” (please Google) gives extensive and detailed instructions on how to make your own self hypnosis tapes.

   To borrow and paraphrase from religious doctrine, in this case “The Man in two persons” there is an interlinked dichotomy of the Universe and you. You have to make peace and be in flow with both to succeed with manifesting through the Law of Attraction.

 THE UNIVERSAL FLOW
   This is a natural Flow that is often overlooked and is most generally expressed in that you must ask from abundance. A prime ingredient in this Flow is that what you ask is physically possible and you are not asking in contradistinction to natural laws. A most silly example of this would to ask that all evil in the world go away. Evil is a relative and subjective human term and to the Universe all is natural and equally neutral. To a lesser degree you cannot ask to be the king/queen ofEnglandas that violates the established order that most people accept. Society is a collective entity that has a stronger will than yours so most often the status quo will prevail. While there are examples of attaining something that someone else owns this only happens when the circumstances become right (and these circumstances could be a long time coming.) It is always preferable to ask from abundance just as the Bible admonishes to not covet your neighbor’s anything.

YOUR PERSONL FLOW
   You also have a Personal Flow of what is right for you. Problems arise in that much of this Personal Flow is programmed at a subconscious level. Your subconscious looks out for what is safe for you and is in your personal comfort zone and so resists the efforts of your conscious mind to change things. Resisting change is the unthinking (new ideas are the province of the conscious mind) but proven way of doing what has been effective for you in the past. Your subconscious only knows the expedient and what was the de facto way to do things in the past and isn’t by itself capable of adapting to changing circumstances. A good book to read is Willful Blindness by Margaret Hefferman to gain an understanding of how pervasive this is in daily life. Going against your Personal Flow will sabotage your efforts to manifest and so must be attended to before a successful outcome can be obtained.

THE PRACTICAL APPLICATION
   The Universal Flow and Your Personal Flow paragraphs above state some of the conditions and problems in manifesting with the Law of Attraction but not the solutions with how to proceed and succeed if you are asking far outside your Flow.

   My book Accessing Awen is an ideal guide for manifesting your Intends if they are congruent with, or closely allied to, your Flow; which should be most of your Intends on an ongoing basis. The thrust of the book with its attendant rituals is to in effect put your Intends on steroids to power you through to success. With some major lifestyle changes (such as overcoming a deeply ingrained lifelong poverty mindset) if you are not manifesting as you would like to, then you most likely need to take a concentrated and directed  reframing of some underlying subconscious programming. EXTRA HELP
   The practical side of learning how to be congruent with your more errant Intends is well covered in The Secret of Deliberate Creation course by Dr, Robert Anthony. While one reviewer has truly stated that everything covered in the course can be discovered free on the Internet, the same can be said for any learning material and doesn’t take into account the impractical side of researching this information, especially since without help you might not even know what you are looking for. Dr, Anthony has years of practical clinic experience with coaching people in this field and so is a good and informed teacher. If this course still doesn’t help you then you need to take the extra step to consult a practitioner, such as an NLP practitioner, to discover and reframe (reprogram) your hindering subconscious belief.
